Scream & Shout è una canzone del cantante statunitense will.i.am in collaborazione con Britney Spears, registrata per il quarto album di will.i.am #willpower. È stata scritta da will.i.am, Jef Martens e Jean Baptiste e prodotta da Lazy Jay, e will.i.am. Dopo che l’RCA annunciò che Britney avrebbe preso una pausa nel 2012, la cantante firmò un contratto per partecipare come giudice alla seconda stagione di X Factor USA. Qualche mese dopo annunciò che avrebbe collaborato con will.i.am: i due avevano già collaborato l’anno precedente per l’album di Britney Femme Fatale, nella traccia Big Fat Bass. Scream & Shout è stata poi confermata come singolo, ed è stata inviata alle radio americane il 19 novembre 2012. Il singolo ha riscosso un ottimo successo mondiale, arrivando alla numero uno nelle classifiche di oltre diciotto Paesi. Negli Stati Uniti, ha raggiunto la numero tre nella Billboard Hot 100 ed è divenuta la prima numero uno nella neonata classifica Dance/Electronic Songs. In Regno Unito, Scream & Shout è divenuta la seconda numero uno consecutiva in classifica di will.i.am e la sesta numero uno di Britney Spears da Everytime.

Ad ottobre 2012 è stato registrato il video, diretto da Ben Mor: il 28 novembre è stato mostrato in anteprima in un episodio di X Factor. Scream & Shout è usata anche come tema musicale nella pubblicità di Beats.

Tre ragazze australiane, belle senza appello, regine del playback, già conosciute per il loro video su ‘Bohemian Rapsody’ dei Queen, fanno parte del gruppo comico “Sketch She” e in tre minuti e trentuno secondi vi faranno percorrere, attraverso un video geniale, 70 anni di musica.

Dagli anni ’40 in divisa per interpretare The Andrews Sisters – Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy alla tenuta da collegiale di Britney Spears in Baby One More Time. Dagli anni ’50 con Elvis Presley – Hound Dog, per poi passare ai Beatles, Queen, Nirvana, Beyoncè e concludere con il nudo integrale di Miley Cyrus in Wrecking Ball.

Un remake geniale che in un mese ha raggiunto circa 20 milioni di visualizzazioni.

La dolcezza infinita di questo brano è senza tempo.

True è un brano musicale del gruppo inglese degli Spandau Ballet, estratto come singolo dall’album True del 1983.
La canzone, composta dal leader del gruppo Gary Kemp, è una ballata di sei minuti (nella versione originale sull’album), in parte ispirata alle sonorità dell’artista Marvin Gaye. La canzone era stata registrata un anno prima della morte di Gaye.
La canzone fu un enorme successo internazionale, raggiungendo la prima posizione nel Regno Unito (dove rimase per quattro settimane) ed in altri 20 paesi superando Everything Counts dei contemporanei Depeche Mode. Si tratta del più grande successo, ed il brano più ricordato degli Spandau Ballet. Il brano portò il gruppo al top delle classifiche, spinto anche dal film The Breakfast Club, divenendo un successo negli Stati Uniti e nel resto del mondo. È l’unico brano del gruppo ad aver conquistato la prima posizione nella Mainstream Rock Songs, rimanendo in cima alla classifica per tre settimane.

Un videoclip con un’idea provocatoria e una fotografia elegante unita al decisivo effetto-choc. Il risultato è volutamente naïf.
